Sui veicoli modern la logica dell'immobilizzatore è distribuita tra la chiave, il quadro strumenti, il BCM e l'ECU/TCU, pertanto il comportamento può differire da un sistema OEM completamente allineato.
Come funziona l'Immo Off nei veicoli modern
L'immobilizzatore è un sistema critico di securità nelle auto modern. Di solito segue la catena chiave → gruppo → BCM → ECU / TCU. Quando uno di questi elementi si guasta o viene sostituito senza un adeguato adattamento, il motore potrebbe non avviarsi o bloccarsi immediatamente. In molti casi la soluzione OEM è una centralina nuova di zecca o una procedura di allineamento completo dell'immobilizzatore.
Con una corretta Immo Off Il controllo dell'immobilizzatore nell'ECU viene disattivato o neutralizzato, consentendo alla centralina del motore di funzionare senza la chiave prevista o l'autenticazione del BCMorisation. Questa soluzione è particolarmente utile quando:
- Sostituzione di una centralina difettosa con un'unità di ricambio.
- Esecuzione di scambi di motori con centraline diverse.
- Gestione di scenari di perdita totale delle chiavi su veicoli non in movimento.
Sui veicoli più recenti, in particolare a partire dall’anno di produzione 2009 circa, è importante comprendere che la logica dell’immobilizzatore è spesso condivisa tra le chiavi mod. Anche se il motore si avvia con l’immobilizzatore disattivato, le funzioni di comfort, le serrature, gli allarmi o i messaggi sul quadro strumenti potrebbero non comportarsi come in un sistema OEM completamente allineato, poiché il BCM e il quadro strumenti potrebbero comunque aspettarsi l’autenticazione della chiave originale.
