Eliminación de la aleta de remolino (también conocido como VSA o intake runner flap delete) es un servicio profesional de calibración de la ECU que deshabilita el control y diagnóstico de swirl o intake flap cuando estos componentes son intencionadamente bloqueados, retirados o suprimidos para uso off-road o motorsport donde esté permitido.

Las aletas de admisión variable están diseñadas para mejorar la turbulencia del aire y la eficiencia de la combustión a bajo régimen, pero en muchas plataformas -especialmente del Grupo VAG, BMW, Mercedes, Alfa Romeo y Fiat - son propensos al desgaste, la acumulación de carbonilla y los fallos mecánicos.
Cuando las aletas de remolino o de admisión se atascan o se rompen, pueden causar pérdida de rendimiento, luces de advertencia y, en casos graves, daños en el motor si los fragmentos son ingeridos por los cilindros. En lugar de sustituir todo el colector, una eliminación correctamente diseñada en la ECU permite bloquear o retirar las aletas de forma segura, sin códigos de error no deseados ni comportamiento limp-mode.
Cómo funciona la eliminación de las aletas de remolino
Nuestra calibración desactiva el control del actuador y los diagnósticos de retroalimentación de posición para las aletas de admisión directamente dentro de la ECU. Esto permite que el actuador y las aletas que se desconecte, bloqueado en una posición segura o físicamente en blanco sin activar DTC relacionados o cojera mode. La modificación se realiza en el software de la ECU y es probado en banco de pruebas y verificado en banco de potencia para mantener una conducción plena, un ralentí constante y una gestión adecuada de la admisión en toda la gama de funcionamiento.
Para cada familia de ECU, TuningBot verifica que la lógica de la aleta de remolino interactúa correctamente con el par modeling, el control boost y las estrategias relacionadas con las emisiones. Cuando es necesario, proporcionamos notas sobre la eliminación del varillaje, las placas ciegas o el bloqueo de la aleta para que la intervención mecánica coincida con la estrategia de software y se mantenga la fiabilidad a largo plazo.
Cuando se recomienda retirar las aletas de remolino
- Aletas de turbulencia agarrotadas, rotas o defectuosas con DTC en el P2004-P2015 gama.
- Motor del actuador o varillaje dañados que causan ralentí inestable, ruido de admisión o desequilibrio del flujo de aire.
- Gran acumulación de carbonilla que restringe el flujo de aire y reduce el rendimiento.
- Durante el ajuste de rendimiento o cuando se combina la eliminación de DPF / EGR para una vía de admisión más limpia.
Ventajas y notas técnicas
- Elimina los códigos de error relacionados con el deflector de turbulencias y los incidentes "limp-mode".
- Reduce el riesgo de fallo catastrófico de la toma por rotura de aletas e ingestión de fragmentos.
- Mejora la fiabilidad a largo plazo y reduce la restricción de admisión, especialmente en motores de alto kilometraje.
- Recomendado exclusivamente para uso todoterreno o automovilístico, o cuando las leyes locales permitan explícitamente la eliminación de las aletas de turbulencia.

Los sistemas de admisión modernos utilizan a menudo múltiples sensores y rutinas adaptativas que dependen de la posición de las aletas, incluyendo modelling de flujo de aire, objetivos boost y capas de protección de temperatura. Cuando el hardware se modifica para su uso fuera de carretera, estas rutinas deben seguir siendo coherentes con la nueva configuración. Un enfoque de software calibrado previene el desequilibrio del flujo de aire, evita los avisos de fallo aleatorios y mantiene predecible la estabilidad de la combustión en condiciones de carga cambiantes.

Este servicio está destinado a aplicaciones no de carretera, pista o deportes de motor, o para situaciones en las que las regulaciones locales permiten explícitamente modificación de los sistemas de aletas de admisión. No debe utilizarse para ocultar fallos genuinos en vehículos que deben cumplir con los diagnósticos estándar de emisiones y seguridad en carretera.
