Advanced Training – Bike Remapping

Deepen your skills for tuning motorcycle engine control units and better understand their component logic. The Alientech Academy motorcycle programme covers both the theory of motorcycle ECUs and the practical technical analysis of calibrations.

Part 1 – ECU theory

Past and present ECU technologies, operating strategies and the control units currently on the market, with a comparison of the different technologies and of the evolution of mechanical components. The session ends with a complete overview of the ECU file structure and maps, in preparation for the engine modification according to its purpose, including deactivations for mechanical troubleshooting.

Part 2 – Technical analysis and remapping examples

How the ECU reads engine tables, how to analyze a torque and power graph, and hands-on applications on ECM Titanium comparing original and modified files of Bosch, Denso and Magneti Marelli motorcycle ECUs, with further file analysis based on the requests of the class.

Who it is for

Mechanical workshops, technicians, students and professionals. Prerequisite: knowledge of ECM Titanium and of ECU remapping tools.
