KESS3 has grown well beyond a programming interface: through Alientech Suite it now brings programming, error-code management, parameter monitoring and performance testing into a single tool, with more than 3,500 protocols across three connection modes (OBD, Bench, Boot) covering ECUs, TCUs, ACMs and UDMs on cars, LCVs, motorcycles, ATVs, trucks, tractors and boats — thermal, hybrid and electric.

DataLogger

Introduced with the 2026 upgrades, DataLogger records ECU parameters in real time through the OBD connection: up to 5 signals displayed simultaneously with live thresholds — RPM, pressures, temperatures, lambda-related values and more, depending on vehicle and protocol — plus position, speed and altitude from the integrated GPS for repeatable road tests. Logging sessions are stored automatically in the online Dashboard, ready to review, compare or share. No additional hardware: DataLogger is included at no extra cost with an active CAR OBD subscription.

DynoDrive

DynoDrive measures power, torque and acceleration directly on the road, using OBD data acquisition and the integrated GPS — no dynamometer required. Vehicle mass and fuel level can be entered for realistic calculations; results are stored in the Dashboard, up to three tests can be overlaid for before/after comparison, and graphs export to PDF for the customer.

DTC Management

KESS3 also identifies and resets the diagnostic trouble codes stored in the ECU, so error-code checks before and after a job happen from the same tool, keeping the workflow continuous.

On selected supported vehicles, Alientech Suite offers Special Functions: vehicle-specific configuration options shown directly in the vehicle sheet alongside the standard read and write operations. Availability varies by vehicle, ECU and protocol.
