The complete original Alientech kit for Boot-mode connection to Bosch MD1 and MG1 engine control units. It interfaces the KESS3 tool directly with the ECU, enabling the unlock and programming operations supported by KESS3 on this family of controllers. Everything needed for the connection is in the box.

What it does

Introduced with KESS3 Upgrade 3.50 (September 2026), the Unlock Module lets a workshop run the BOOT Unlock procedure on the latest protected Bosch MDG1 ECUs without sending the unit out. Once unlocked, KESS3 accesses the ECU memories in BOOT mode for reading, writing and a complete backup, and the unit can be programmed from there.
